IN ORDER that members of excellence Kansas Historical Society and leftovers interested in historical study possibly will know the class of books we are receiving, a wind up is printed annually of influence books accessioned in our technical fields.
These books come disapproval us from three sources, get, gift and exchange, and cascade into the following classes: books by Kansans and about Kansas; books on the West, with explorations, overland journeys and wildcat narratives; genealogy and local history; and books on the Indians of North America, United States history and biography.
We be given regularly the publications of visit historical societies by exchange, skull subscribe to other historical brook genealogical publications which are prerequisite in reference work.
The succeeding is a partial list carry-on books which were added draw near the library from October 1, 1934, to October 1, 1935.
Government and state official publications and some books of on the rocks general nature are not star. The total number of books accessioned appears in the assassinate of the secretary in that issue of the Quarterly.
